The Kollmans are very much enjoying the fall – although its been pretty cold so far and we haven’t ventured into turning on our heat yet! I suppose we can’t put it off much longer!
October is absolutely flying by. We were able to go the Renaissance Festival the last weekend it was open this year. The last weekend in September was a busy one, with a Junebug show on Friday night, and the Festival on Saturday. We really enjoyed ourselves, and even got to renew our vows in true Renaissance fashion. It was a really fun time, and we know we’ll go again next year.
The first week in October was also busy. We saw Beck at Roy Wilkens (fantastic show!) and then headed to Aberdeen for the wedding of some friends. It was a nice wedding, and a fun weekend because we got to spend a lot of time with Liza’s family and enjoy the beginning of fall. It was also Gypsy Day weekend, so we went to the parade, too.
The last two weeks have been busy, like usual. Liza is working more than ever, and Tony’s still looking for work, though he did get a great acting gig last weekend that he really enjoyed, and that helped with the bills as well. He’s hoping for more acting gigs. We’ve had several Junebug shows, and even more are scheduled.
Tonight is the CD Release Party at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis. We are all VERY excited about it, as the boys have been waiting for a long time to play the Fine Line and it looks to be a fantastic show. Junebug is off and running, with many shows scheduled in the next three months – and many more in the works as well.
Hope everyone else is having a great fall, too!
